The Hebrew letter hey is engraved in the centre; it is one of the letters constituting the name of God. The obverse also includes the inscription: ‘May this child grow up for Torah, the huppah, and good deeds’. The reverse contains a prayer against the evil eye and childhood diseases. Hebrew.
