The depiction of the famous Jewish philanthropist and public figure is encircled by portraits of the monarchs of his era: Emperor Nicholas I of Russia, Queen Victoria of England, the Sultan Abd al-Rahman of Morocco, and Sultan Abdul Medjid I of Ottoman Turkey.
